PEC Game Design GmbH, founded in 2024 and based in Basel, Switzerland, is on a mission to create substantial contributions to the still small, but growing Swiss gaming-market. The studio aims to demonstrate "Community is at the heart of everything: Blend the proven success of beloved, established games with groundbreaking innovations and features inspired by what the community truly desires."

At PEC, passion drives everything we do. As game developers, we are deeply committed to crafting unique and memorable gaming experiences for our players. Inspired by the dedication of iconic studios like Studio Cherry, Mega Crit and From Software, we strive for excellence in every detail — from storytelling and design to gameplay and user experience. Our passion extends beyond just making games; it’s about building worlds that players can immerse themselves in and remember for years.

E – Engaging:

Our games are designed to captivate and invite players into dynamic, interactive worlds. We aim to create gameplay mechanics that encourage exploration, creativity, and experimentation. Players can expect a vast array of playstyles, allowing them to approach challenges in their own unique ways. Whether it’s forging alliances, competing against others, or diving into intricate systems, our games inspire curiosity and provide depth. Drawing from the best elements of titles like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Elden Ring, we design experiences where every interaction feels meaningful, and every choice adds to the player’s journey.

C – Challenging:

We believe that true satisfaction comes from overcoming adversity. In a world where many games prioritize accessibility, we aim to revive the thrill of a real challenge. Like the Dark Souls series, our games demand skill, perseverance, and mastery of their mechanics. Achievements feel truly earned, making every victory a moment of triumph. As we like to say: “No victory without struggle.” Be prepared to see the infamous words "You Died" more than once — but also know that each failure is a step toward mastering the game and achieving greatness.
